The real deal or a total steal?

The fine balcony view showcased the mountain panorama, and the family-friendly atmosphere made our stay enjoyable.

The amenities felt outdated, and noise from neighboring rooms was disruptive, making it hard to relax.

Breakfast was fantastic - better than most 5 star hotel breakfasts. Very clean, friendly staff, good value for money.

Internet wasn't working. Very popular with tour groups. A little far from ski lifts, but buses work throughout resort.

breakfast and dinner were great, a big praise to the kitchen! (the chocolate cake in the evening is great) very friendly service! price-performance ratio at dinner is very good. The rooms are very clean, dogs are welcome. The rooms in the old wing are very spacious, in the new wing smaller but more modern. Dance lessons and gymnastics are offered (but not used). We were very impressed with the optimal connection to the town via elevators. Relaxed atmosphere. It is possible to leave your luggage in the hotel on the day of departure and to take a shower later (if the day of departure is still used as a ski day)

journey to the hotel with bigger cars is not so pleasant. narrow curves, possible oncoming traffic and black ice make the short ascent more difficult. due to the good connection (elevators) to the bus stop, one can leave the car at the hotel.

The noise from the lounge bar is a nuisance!!! Limited menu options and high extra charges for basic amenities. Slow Wi-Fi can be frustrating who need it!!!

The room was neat, modern and had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and a personal safe. A lot of food served in the dining room for breakfast, it was comprehensive and great. Location: the hotel was not far from the Engelberg railway station as well as the center.

great views but a bit noisy

The room was spacious and had a fine balcony with panoramic mountain views that were amazing! The staff were friendly and genuinely welcomed us. Dining at the restaurant was a highlight. The buffet offered an excellent range of dishes, and the ambiance was lovely, especially with the mountain vista.

The lively atmosphere from nearby bars on the weekend made it a bit loud at times, especially late into the night.

No complaints whatsoever, the venue met requirements. Ideal hotel, the idea of having standard triple room was great. The room with a fantastic view. The breakfast offered a wide range of incredible meals. The location was great ready to climb the hill and the staff here was very good.

Breackfast tables not clean, rooms to small, no pool

We had such a fun time enjoying the amazing buffet dinner and relaxing in the sauna after a day of exploring. The views from our room and the restaurant were fine, especially at sunset. The only thing was some noise from downstairs, but it didn't ruin our vibe at all. I'd definitely recommend it for a great getaway 😊

Just a solid selection for a city break in Engelberg with great value for money. The amazing views from the room were lovely! Make sure to ask about any breakfast options if you're on a schedule.

Everything was nice, especially the fact that one can reach hotel from the city centre and the parking by elevator. Nicely thought through and very practical! The rest all the way one would expect it. Great location and impressive building.
